Hazardous Coatings

Imagine a system that when applied to a hazardous coating, would have the following attributes:

  1. Release it from its substrate
  2. Wet it throughout allowing no release of fibres or particles
  3. Require no contamination of water or other blast media
  4. No contamination of scaffolding
  5. Allow the project to substantially lower its risk designation
  6. No risk to non abatement personnel
  7. Reduce disposal fees
  8. SRS experienced applicators keep the site clean and safe for the removal crew

Have these references in the MSDS sheet:

  1. OSHA Flammability Classification - Non Flammable
  2. VOC Content - No regulated VOC's
  3. NFPA and HMIS Hazard Classification - Health: 1 Flammability: 0 Reactivity: 1 Special Hazards: None
  4. Biodegradable in accordance with the ISO/DIS 8192 Standard

A quantum leap in the speed of removal.

SRS has been successful with a full range of hazardous coatings. some examples include: Seculite coatings on a red lead primer on pipes in a power station Textured Ceilings Exterior textured Coatings on poured in place concrete. (see insert) White paint on heritage wood buildings Containing tile mastic (black) on floors.
